When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

Life will always have something unexpected to throw our way, which is something we can all expect. But if you want to make the very most of your life, this one life, and to be happy, you need to learn how to push past whatever barriers are placed in your way. Don’t take the easy way out. Fight for your life and your happiness.

As your grow up and you begin to experience life, you begin to understand how the world works! It gets really frustrating at some point and you just really want to give up!

But what’s the beauty of life if you don’t keep fighting?

It’s easy to sink into despair when you’re faced with challenges, when you feel a heavy burden in your heart, when you’re helpless… it always feels like the right thing to do, you just want to remain in bed and weep till you can’t even go further. But we are not kids anymore and our problems are not make-believe. We can’t pretend away our obstacles, our heartbreaks or misfortunes. They are very real and they can tie you in a helpless knot if you just ignore them.

There is a famous expression in English: When the going gets tough, the tough get going – meaning when the situation becomes difficult, the strong will work harder to meet the challenge.

Accepting the hard part of life doesn’t mean bad things are good, that struggles are easy or that heartache isn’t real. Life is hard and somethings that happens to us is very unfair, it fills us with sorrow, regret and frustration.

You do not have to tell yourself your problems are okay, although they maybe normal or inevitable!

I always say to myself anytime I find myself in bizarre situations ‘This is not okay, and I don’t like dealing with this. But I am okay and I can find a way to cope’

Problems, obstacles, challenges, they are all part of our life, we can’t avoid them but we definitely can find a way to cope with them in a more hopeful way.
